American Horror Story's highly anticipated second season draws ever closer and the casting scoop gets more impressive everyday.
Not only will we see the return of S1 stars Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson, and Evan Peters, but today EW confirmed that FlashForward and Camelot actor Joseph Fiennes has signed on as a series "regular".
Fiennes, widely known for his role in Shakespeare in Love, is set to play the head of an institution for the criminally insane in which Jessica Lange works. Reports suggest that Fiennes will also be the object of Lange's affections. If you saw the first season of American Horror Story, you know that does not bode well for the character's longevity. That is assuming Lange's S2 character is anything like her S1 counterpart, Constance Langdon.
Is Fiennes heading for the meat grinder as well?
Other names currently assoicated with the show's second season are James Cromwell, Chloe Sevigny, and Adam Levine.
